The bells rang out on Sunday 11 December as people made their way to the carol service in the parish church of St Thomas.

Jim Pile, of Higher Week Farm, returned from the Royal Cornwall Show on Saturday 11 June with eight rosettes won by his Border Leicester sheep. The four firsts were for shearling ram, shearling ewe, ewe with lamb, and wool on the hoof.

St Thomas parish church is raising money to repair the roof, so when Stephen Clifford suggested a competition “Guess the Finishing Time” when he ran the London Marathon many people had a go at £1 a time. £177.35 was raised.
