Kentisbury WI started 2012 by having a meeting for lunch in the Pack of Cards in Combe Martin. 17 members were present. The resolutions for the year were discussed. Secretary Valerie Ashman made a note of the votes. President Viviane Clout told everyone of different events to be held during the coming months. Christmas presents were exchanged in the Secret Santa,and the competition for the prettiest necklace was won by Marilyn Purchase with her turquoise necklace.
The next meeting is on Monday 6 February at 7.30pm in the village hall when there will be a demonstration of Hilary’s Hats. The competition is a hand made wedding invitation card of any size.
