This weekend there will be a Flower Festival in St Thomas’ parish church. The WI are celebrating 90 years in Devon,and to mark the occasion Kentisbury WI are staging the festival. The theme is “Celebrations”.
The church will open at 10.30am. Morning coffee will be served between 11am and 12.30pm and Cream Teas will be served between 3pm and 5pm, in the village hall.
On Saturday the church will close at 5pm and on Sunday there will be a Songs of Praise service,starting at 5pm. Kentisbury WI are 77 years old this year and during the weekend there will be an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia collected over the years. The exhibition will be in the village hall.
